Secondary Teaching Assistant – Huddersfield

Protocol Education is currently recruiting enthusiastic and dedicated Secondary Teaching Assistants to work across a range of secondary schools in Huddersfield. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are passionate about supporting young people and making a positive impact on their educational journey.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support teachers in delivering engaging and effective lessons.
  • Provide one-to-one and small group support to students.
  • Assist pupils with additional learning, behavioural, or emotional needs.
  • Help maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
  • Monitor and record student progress where required.
The Ideal Candidate Will:
  • Have experience working with children or young people, ideally within an educational setting.
  • Possess strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Be patient, adaptable, and committed to supporting student achievement.
  • Have a proactive and positive approach to learning support.
  • Hold a DBS on the Update Service or be willing to obtain one.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
