Senior Site Engineer – Civil Engineering

£50,000 - £65,000 + Vehicle + Lodge Allowance + Benefits

We are recruiting for an experienced Senior Site Engineer to join a leading civil engineering contractor delivering major infrastructure projects across the UK.

This role offers the opportunity to work on large-scale earthworks and infrastructure schemes, supporting project delivery through surveying, setting out, machine control management and technical site support.

Key Responsibilities:

• Surveying and setting out works on site
• Managing machine control systems and 3D modelling
• Monitoring earthworks progress and reporting project performance
• Interpreting engineering drawings and technical specifications
• Supporting project planning, resource management and procurement activities
• Ensuring compliance with quality, health, safety and environmental standards
• Mentoring junior engineers and supporting site teams

Requirements:

• Degree or HND in Civil Engineering
• Previous experience within civil engineering, earthworks or infrastructure projects
• Strong setting out and surveying experience
• Knowledge of machine control systems (Topcon, Trimble or Leica)
• Experience using GPS, Total Stations and surveying software
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• Full UK Driving Licence
• Willingness to travel and work away from home when required

• £50,000 - £65,000 basic salary
