Our client, a leading provider of facilities services in the UK, is seeking a Sector Support Cleaner to support the Key Account Network business in all aspects of self-delivered activities within an aligned UK sector.

Job Overview

The Sector Support Cleaner will work alongside direct and indirect account teams to help ensure effective service delivery, frontline compliance, and the successful delivery of cleaning operations across an allocated portfolio.

This role requires a flexible and proactive individual who can adapt to changing rota allocations and operational requirements. Working within an 8-hour working window, the successful candidate will support the delivery of client service level agreements while maintaining high standards of cleaning and customer service across multiple sites.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver all aspects of cleaning operational activity across sites within the allocated portfolio.
  • Respond to requests from the Sector Manager as required.
  • Complete periodic cleaning activities in line with client specifications and agreed schedules, achieving 100% delivery.
  • Adhere to all client-specific security procedures and policies at all times.
  • Maintain professional relationships with client representatives and company personnel.
  • Ensure familiarity with opening and lock-up procedures for all contracts within the area of responsibility.
  • Support site familiarisation for new employees, including cleaning regimes, waste procedures, opening and lock-up procedures, and air lock door procedures.
  • Maintain tidy storerooms, ensure stock is stored correctly, and monitor the availability of cleaning materials and consumables, escalating issues to the relevant manager.

Person Specification

  • Experience in a comparable cleaning or support role.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with and support front-line colleagues.
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to manage client expectations and deliver customer-focused solutions.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Flexible, adaptable, and proactive approach to work.
  • Ability to effectively manage priorities and projects.
  • Ability to build and maintain professional working relationships with internal stakeholders.
  • Full UK driving licence.
