Salary: £38,000 - £44,000 Basic + Overtime + Company Vehicle + Benefits

Alecto Recruitment are representing a well established and growing Fire & Security company who are looking to recruit an experienced Security Engineer to join their team covering Essex and the surrounding areas.

The Role

As a Security Engineer, you will be responsible for the service, maintenance, fault finding, repairs, and small installation works on a range of electronic security systems across commercial and industrial sites.

You will work independently, managing your own diary while delivering a high standard of workmanship and customer service.



Duties Include

  • Service, maintenance, and fault finding on CCTV, Access Control, and Intruder Alarm systems.
  • Carrying out small installation works and system upgrades.
  • Diagnosing faults and providing effective solutions.
  • Performing planned preventative maintenance visits.
  • Completing service reports and required documentation.
  • Providing technical support and advice to customers.
  • Maintaining excellent customer relationships.
  • Ensuring all work complies with company procedures and industry standards.


Systems Experience

Experience working with a variety of manufacturers is desirable, including:

  • Hikvision
  • Hanwha
  • Avigilon
  • Paxton
  • Gallagher
  • Texecom
  • Honeywell Galaxy
  • Pyronix
  • Orisec
  • CSL DualCom

Experience with similar systems will also be considered.



Requirements

  • Previous experience as a Security Engineer.
  • Strong fault finding and diagnostic skills.
  • Experience servicing and maintaining CCTV, Access Control, and Intruder Alarm systems.
  • Good communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage your own workload.
  • Full UK Driving Licence.
