Security Install Engineer – CCTV, Access Control & Intruder Alarms

Location: Northampton
Salary: £40,000 – £45,000 per annum + Overtime

The Opportunity

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Security Install Engineer to join a well-established and growing security systems company. Due to continued success and increasing demand across Northampton and the surrounding areas, our client is expanding their engineering team and looking for a motivated individual with experience in CCTV, Access Control and Intruder Alarm installations.

Role & Responsibilities

As a Security Install Engineer, your duties will include:

• Installation of IP CCTV systems, Access Control and Intruder Alarms

• Field-based role covering commercial and residential sites across Northampton and the surrounding areas

• Working with a range of leading security manufacturers and systems

• Ensuring installations meet high-quality and compliance standards

• Maintaining excellent communication with customers at all times

• Completing work efficiently and accurately

• Supporting colleagues and contributing to team success when required

Skills & Experience Required

• Full UK driving licence (essential)

• Experience installing CCTV, Access Control and/or Intruder Alarm systems

• Ideally 3+ years' experience within the security industry, although this is desirable rather than essential

• Candidates with experience in one or two disciplines are encouraged to apply, with training provided

• Familiarity with multiple security system manufacturers

• Strong work ethic, positive attitude and self-motivation

• Ability to work independently across multiple sites

Desirable Qualifications (Not Essential)

• IPAF

• CSCS / ECS

• FIA Units

• City & Guilds (Security Systems or Electrical)
