We are currently recruiting Green Tunnel Segment Installers to join a major infrastructure project at Greatworth Green Tunnel.
The Role
As a Green Tunnel Segment Installer, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient installation of precast concrete structural units within the green tunnels.
Duties will include:
- Erecting and positioning precast concrete structural units.
- Attaching and detaching slinging arrangements to precast concrete units.
- Slinging and signalling crane operations.
- Banking and directing crane movements during lifting operations.
- Ensuring precast units are positioned accurately and safely.
- Working as part of a team to maintain safe and efficient site operations.
- Following all site health, safety and environmental procedures.
Requirements
The successful candidates will have:
- A40A Slinger/Signaller – All Duties
- IPAF ticket
- Harness trained
- Level 2 NVQ in Erection of Precast Concrete – Structural, or willingness to enrol once established on the project.
- Previous experience working with precast concrete structures would be highly advantageous.
- Strong commitment to health and safety.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a site team
