SEMH Teaching Assistant - Maidenhead

As an SEMH Teaching Assistant, your role will include:

• Providing 1:1 support for students with social, emotional, and mental health needs
• Supporting small groups with learning, emotional regulation, and confidence-building activities both inside and outside the classroom
• Assisting with the implementation of individual support plans and behaviour strategies
• Monitoring student progress, wellbeing, and engagement
• Promoting a safe, nurturing, and inclusive learning environment

• Strong communication and de-escalation skills
• Ability to build trusting relationships with young people
• An understanding of SEMH needs, trauma-informed practice, or positive behaviour support

• Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am-3:30pm
