Aspire People is recruiting on behalf of one of our trusted partner SEND schools in Boston for compassionate and resilient SEMH Teaching Assistants to join their dedicated team this September.
This is an excellent opportunity to support children and young people aged 5-17 with a range of additional needs, including Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, ADHD, autism, attachment difficulties, childhood trauma, and complex learning needs.

The Role
As an SEMH Teaching Assistant, you'll work closely with teachers and the wider support team to provide both classroom and 1:1 support. Every day is different, and you'll play a key role in creating a safe, positive, and engaging learning environment where pupils feel supported to succeed both academically and emotionally.
This is a full-time, long-term position with the opportunity to secure a permanent contract for the right candidate.
We Would Love to Hear From You If You Have Experience In:
* SEMH or SEND settings
* Schools, colleges, or alternative provisions
* Residential care or children's homes
* Youth work or mentoring
* Supporting vulnerable children or young adults
* Behaviour support or mental health settings
* Psychology graduates looking to gain valuable school-based experience before pursuing careers in educational psychology, teaching, counselling, or mental health are encouraged to apply.

* Be available to work Monday to Friday, term time only.
