SEMH Support Staff – STEM College, Norwich
Location: Norwich, Norfolk
Start Date: September
Pay: £100 per day or £16.66 per hour
We are looking for dedicated and compassionate SEMH (Social, Emotional and Mental Health) Support Staff to join our team at a specialist STEM centre in Norwich.
This is a rewarding opportunity to support young people aged 6–16 years with their education and personal development in a supportive learning environment.
The Role
The role will involve:

Providing 1:1 support for individual students.

Working as a Classroom Assistant, supporting small groups of up to 12 pupils.

Helping students with their learning, emotional wellbeing, and engagement.

Working closely with teaching staff to create a positive and inclusive environment.
Work is available from 1 to 5 days per week, depending on Norfolk County Council contracts, Centre requirements, and school needs.
Essential Requirements
Applicants must:

Have experience working with children and young people aged 6–16 in the UK.

Have knowledge and understanding of supporting pupils with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEH) needs.

Hold an enhanced DBS certificate registered on the DBS Update Service.

Have the right to work in the UK.

Be reliable, patient, and committed to making a positive difference.
