SEMH Teacher in Thrapston, Northamptonshire

We are currently seeking an experienced and dedicated Teacher to join a secondary education setting in Thrapston, starting 28th September on an ongoing basis.

The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching and supporting pupils across all core subjects, working with secondary-aged students who have Special Educational Needs (SEN) and may have experienced barriers to accessing mainstream education.

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching experience
• Previous secondary SEN and/or Alternative Provision (AP) experience is essential
• Experience teaching across core subjects
• A calm, patient and adaptable approach
• Strong behaviour and classroom management skills
• The ability to build positive relationships with pupils who may have additional needs or challenging behaviour
• A genuine commitment to supporting pupils to overcome barriers to learning and achieve their potential
