This full-time SEMH Teaching Assistant position offers the opportunity to begin on a temporary basis before securing a permanent contract within a highly supportive and well-established trust.
As an SEMH Teaching Assistant in Aylesbury, you'll support pupils with SEMH and Autism both in and out of the classroom, helping them develop confidence, emotional regulation and the skills needed to achieve both academically and personally. The Role
Work as an SEMH Teaching Assistant supporting pupils with SEMH and ASC.
Deliver 1:1 and small-group interventions.
Help pupils engage positively with learning and overcome barriers to education.
Promote emotional wellbeing through consistent, positive relationships.
Work collaboratively with teachers, therapists and pastoral staff within an Outstanding Trust.
What We're Looking For
The successful SEMH Teaching Assistant will ideally have experience working with children or young people with SEMH, Autism or additional learning needs. Graduates considering careers in teaching, educational psychology, counselling or therapy are also encouraged to apply.
