We're looking for an ambitious Semi Senior Accountant to join a friendly, growing accountancy practice. If you've built a solid foundation in practice and are looking for greater responsibility, client exposure and genuine career progression, we'd love to hear from you.

What You'll Be Doing

• Preparing year-end accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies.
• Producing management accounts and financial reports.
• Preparing VAT returns and assisting with personal and corporation tax.
• Supporting senior accountants with client portfolios.
• Liaising directly with clients, answering queries and building strong relationships.
• Assisting junior team members where appropriate.
• Using cloud-based accounting software including Xero, QuickBooks and Sage.

What We're Looking For

• Previous experience working within a UK accountancy practice is essential.
• AAT qualified or studying ACCA/ACA (or qualified by experience).
• Good knowledge of accounts preparation and VAT.
• Experience supervising junior staff.
