An excellent opportunity has arisen for an Accounts Associate to join a well-established and forward-thinking accountancy practice based in Norwich.
The Role:
As an Accounts Associate, you will support the preparation of accounts and financial information for a varied portfolio of clients while developing your technical knowledge within a collaborative and supportive team. This role is ideal for someone looking to further their career within practice.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist with the preparation of statutory accounts for a range of clients.
• Support the preparation of management accounts, reconciliations and financial reports.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, responding to routine queries.
• Work closely with colleagues to ensure deadlines are met and work is completed to a high standard.
• Assist with reviewing financial information and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.
• Contribute to a collaborative team environment and continue developing your technical skills.
Skills & Experience:
• AAT qualified or currently studying towards AAT.
• Previous experience within an accountancy practice or similar finance environment.
• Good understanding of accounts preparation.
• Strong analytical and organisational skills.
• Excellent communication and client relationship skills.
• Competent using Microsoft Office, with experience of Xero or other cloud accounting software desirable.
• Personal tax knowledge would be advantageous but is not essential.
