Are you a nurturing, patient and passionate SEN Classroom Support Worker who loves making a real difference to the lives of children with additional needs?

We are currently looking for an experienced SEN Classroom Support Worker to join a welcoming school in Ellesmere Port, supporting children with complex needs. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is committed to providing outstanding support and helping every child feel valued, understood and able to thrive.

The role is initially temporary, with the potential to become a long-term position for the right candidate. If you are someone who builds positive relationships, remains calm and patient in challenging situations, and are based in Ellesmere Port, we would love to hear from you.



The ideal candidate will:

  • Have previous experience working with children or young people with complex additional needs.
  • Have a nurturing, patient and compassionate approach.
  • Be passionate about supporting children with SEN and helping them overcome barriers to learning.
  • Be confident in building positive and trusting relationships with pupils.
  • Have the resilience and understanding required to support children who may display challenging behaviours or require a high level of individual support.
  • Be able to work effectively as part of a supportive school team.
  • Have secondary school Teaching Assistant experience - this would be advantageous.
  • Be reliable, enthusiastic and committed to making a positive difference.

  • Start date: Immediate
  • Duration: Initially temporary, with the potential to become long term if the candidate is the right fit for the school.
  • Experience: Previous experience supporting children with complex needs is essential.
