We are working with a welcoming and supportive SEND school in Street that is seeking an enthusiastic SEN Teacher to join their secondary provision. The Role

You will be responsible for delivering engaging and accessible lessons to secondary-aged students with a range of special educational needs and disabilities. Working closely with teaching assistants, therapists and wider school staff, you will create an inclusive learning environment that supports both academic progress and personal development.

What We're Looking For
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential
  • Experience working with SEND students is desirable
  • Strong classroom management skills
  • A patient, flexible and nurturing approach
  • Ability to adapt teaching strategies to meet individual learning needs
  • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
