Hours: Monday to Friday (8:30am to 3:30pm)

 

Are you a passionate individual looking to work with SEN pupils and supporting them in their educational journey?

Teaching Personnel are seeking Healthcare Workers, Support Workers, Teaching Assistants, Learning Support Assistants, and individuals with experience working with children with severe learning disabilities.

The Successful candidate will be working with pupils between the ages of 3 – 11 years as part of specialist team who are passionate about supporting the education of their pupils, allowing them to succeed. The Ofsted ‘Good’ rated primary school is based in Coventry and is a full-time position (Monday – Friday, 8:30am – 15:30pm.)

The pupils you will work with all have severe learning difficulties and associated disabilities, which may present challenging and disruptive behaviours. We are looking for someone who is confident with managing these behaviours, whilst maintaining a nurturing approach to support the students’ individual requirements.

Requirements:

  • Individuals with a passion for helping children with SEN
  • Previous experience working with children
  • SEN experience (desirable)
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
  • A genuine interest in making a positive impact on the lives of young learners
  • An enhanced child DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply for one)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
