EYFS SEN Teaching Assistant – Developmental Delay & Speech
Location: Camden, North London
Pay: £100–£115 per day
Contract: Full-time, long-term

Enrich Education Recruitment is working with an inclusive 2-form-entry primary school in Camden seeking an EYFS SEN Teaching Assistant to support children with additional needs within Nursery and Reception.
The school is particularly looking for someone comfortable supporting younger children with developmental delay and speech, language and communication needs, helping them access the EYFS curriculum at an appropriate level.
This would be an excellent opportunity for an Early Years Practitioner, SEN TA or Learning Support Assistant who enjoys helping younger children develop their communication, confidence and independence.
The Role
Working alongside the class teacher and SENCO, you will:

Provide 1:1 and small-group SEN support

Support children with developmental delay

Encourage speech, language and communication

Adapt activities to children's developmental levels

Support early phonics and language
-
Use practical and visual learning resources
-
Encourage interaction and play with peers

Support routines and transitions
-
Develop independence and confidence
About You
We're particularly interested in candidates with experience across EYFS, Nursery, Reception or SEN.
Experience supporting developmental delay, SLCN, ASD or communication difficulties would be highly valuable.
Knowledge of Makaton, PECS, visual communication, Attention Autism or speech and language interventions would also be beneficial.
You'll need to be nurturing, creative and patient, with the ability to adapt your approach to different children's developmental needs.

This is a welcoming 2-form-entry Camden primary school with a strong inclusive ethos and an established Early Years team.
You'll work alongside experienced teachers, Teaching Assistants and the SENCO, with a collaborative approach to supporting children who require additional help.
