We are working with a well-resourced SEN school in Havering seeking a reliable and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant.

The school provides a highly structured and supportive environment for pupils with moderate to complex learning needs, with a strong focus on consistency and routine.



The Role:

  • Support pupils 1:1 and in small groups
  • Assist with sensory-based and structured learning activities
  • Encourage communication, independence, and engagement
  • Implement behaviour and learning support strategies
  • Support personal care routines when required


The Ideal Candidate:

  • Experience in SEN, care, or support work
  • Reliable, calm, and consistent approach
  • Strong ability to build trust with vulnerable learners
  • Team player who values structure and routine
