The successful candidate for the SEN Teacher role should have previous experience working in a SEN school and have the ability to adjust to the various individual requirements of each student. The SEN Teacher position is full time from Monday to Friday during school term time only and will be on a permanent contract.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a diverse and well organised team. The school educates ASD, SEMH and non-verbal students and is dedicated to meeting the vocational, behavioural, and academic needs of each student, with the mission to adapt and implement functional curricula necessary to meet the individual needs of their students. The aim is to ensure vulnerable young people are accessing full time education by focusing on their emotional development.

The Ideal SEN Teacher will possess the ability to work closely with SEN students and prepare well-structured lessons tailored according to student abilities and needs. The SEN Teacher will need to have a strong understanding of ASD and how to best approach the behaviour of each student using their knowledge and experience so that they can focus on the individual requirements of each student and help implement the school’s objectives.
