Academics Rochester are currently working with a Primary School in Gillingham for an experienced SEN Teacher.

You must have experience of working with children with ASD, Behavioural traits and/or SEMH as this school works with children with Mental Health, Behavioural difficulties and complex learning needs.

The school provides its students with an excellent learning environment, giving them a positive attitude towards their work, helping them thrive and progress in the school.

As an SEN Teacher, your responsibilities will be:

  • Teaching KS1 pupils in a mainstream setting
  • Supporting pupils with high needs and non-verbal
  • Maintaining and improving their education levels
  • Classroom management and small group work
  • Compiling and updating individual learning plans for students
