SEN Teacher Required in Nottingham

Monarch Education is seeking a dedicated and passionate SEN Teacher to work within specialist schools and alternative provisions across Nottingham.

This is a rewarding opportunity for a qualified teacher who is committed to supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). You will have the chance to make a genuine difference by helping children and young people overcome barriers to learning and achieve positive outcomes both academically and personally.

The Role

As an SEN Teacher, you will:

  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons tailored to individual learning needs
  • Support pupils with Autism, ADHD, SEMH and other SEND requirements
  • Create a positive, inclusive and stimulating learning environment
  • Monitor and assess pupil progress
  • Work collaboratively with Teaching Assistants, SENCOs, parents and external professionals
  • Promote positive behaviour, wellbeing and engagement


Requirements

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS) or equivalent teaching qualification
  • Experience supporting children with SEND is desirable
  • Strong classroom management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A genuine passion for supporting young people
