We are seeking a passionate and dedicated SEN Teacher to join a welcoming and well-resourced special educational needs (SEN) school in Wembley, Brent this September.
The Role You will be leading a small, supportive classroom of 6 pupils, delivering tailored and engaging lessons to meet a range of additional needs. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in a nurturing and collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver differentiated lessons to students with SEN
- Create a positive, inclusive, and structured learning environment
- Work closely with teaching assistants and wider support staff
- Monitor and assess pupil progress, adapting strategies to support individual needs
- Engage with parents, carers, and multi-disciplinary teams
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – essential
- Proven experience teaching within an SEN setting
- Strong understanding of diverse learning needs and EHCPs
- Patient, empathetic, and committed approach
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Inner London Main Pay Scale (MPS/UPS)
- £4,000 SEN Allowance
