SEN Teacher

As a SEND / SEMH Teacher, you will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging lessons tailored to the needs of students with additional learning and behavioural needs.

• Plan and deliver high-quality, differentiated lessons
• Support students with SEND and SEMH needs to achieve their individual targets
• Teach small groups and provide personalised learning opportunities
• Build positive relationships that promote engagement and emotional wellbeing
• Assess progress, mark work and complete reports as required
• Implement effective behaviour management strategies
• Work closely with parents, carers and external professionals
• Contribute to a positive and inclusive school culture

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Qualified Teacher Learning and Skills (QTLS)
• Minimum of two years' experience working within a SEND, SEMH, specialist school, alternative provision or similar setting
• Strong understanding of trauma-informed practice and inclusive teaching strategies
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
• A genuine passion for supporting vulnerable young people
