Are you a passionate and nurturing SEN Teacher looking for a rewarding opportunity where you can make a real difference?

We are currently seeking 1 x SEN Teacher to join a welcoming special school, supporting a Primary-aged class, with most pupils working at approximately Year 4 level.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced SEN teacher, or a teacher with a strong interest in SEND, to provide consistency, encouragement and engaging learning experiences for pupils with additional needs.

The Role

You will be working with a small group of Primary-aged pupils, helping to create a positive, structured and inclusive learning environment.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Delivering engaging and appropriately differentiated lessons.
  • Supporting pupils with their individual learning and development.
  • Building strong, positive relationships with students.
  • Creating a calm, safe and nurturing classroom environment.
  • Working collaboratively with support staff and the wider school team.
  • Encouraging pupils' confidence, communication, independence and engagement.
  • Adapting your teaching approach to meet individual needs.

  • Passionate about working with children with additional needs.
  • Patient, caring, enthusiastic and resilient.
  • Confident adapting teaching and learning to individual pupil needs.
  • Able to build positive relationships and maintain a calm classroom environment.
  • A strong team player with excellent communication skills.
  • Experienced in SEN/SEND education, or keen to develop their experience within a specialist setting.
Essential Requirements

A full, valid UK driving licence is NON-NEGOTIABLE for this role.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
