Pay Rate: £150- £350 per day

Are you a passionate and dedicated SEN Teacher looking for a rewarding long-term opportunity?

We are currently recruiting for an enthusiastic and caring teacher to join a specialist SEN school on a long-term basis, working 3 days per week.

The school provides a nurturing and supportive environment for children aged 5-13, with a strong focus on supporting pupils with communication and interaction needs.

The Role

As an SEN Teacher, you will:

  • Plan and deliver engaging, personalised lessons tailored to individual needs.
  • Build positive and trusting relationships with pupils aged 5-13.
  • Support children with communication, interaction and emotional regulation.
  • Adapt teaching and learning to meet individual needs and EHCP outcomes.
  • Work closely with Teaching Assistants, therapists, families and the wider school team.
  • Encourage pupils to develop confidence, independence and life skills.
  • Celebrate individual progress and achievements.
  • Contribute to a positive, nurturing and inclusive school environment.

About You

We are looking for a teacher who is:

  • Passionate about supporting children with additional needs.
  • Patient, nurturing and approachable.
  • Creative and adaptable in their teaching.
  • Confident in managing individual learning needs.
  • A strong communicator and team player.
  • Committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.

Experience working within SEN, autism, communication and interaction needs or a specialist school setting would be highly desirable.

Minimum Requirements:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* Experience teaching in SEN schools
* Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
* Legal right to work in the UK
* Commitment to safeguarding and the welfare of children
