Academics are recruiting on behalf of a specialist SEN setting in Seaford for a passionate educator to support pupils with social, emotional and mental health needs.

The Role:

• Deliver engaging and accessible lessons suited to individual needs.

• Support pupils with social, emotional and mental health challenges.

• Encourage positive behaviour, participation and personal development.

• Adapt learning approaches to support different abilities and learning styles.

• Build trusting relationships with pupils who may have experienced barriers to education.

• Work alongside colleagues to promote positive educational outcomes.

The Ideal Candidate:

• Qualified Teacher Status or relevant teaching/instructor experience.

• Experience supporting pupils with SEMH, behavioural needs or additional learning needs.

• Strong behaviour management and relationship-building skills.

• A resilient, patient and nurturing approach.

• The ability to engage and motivate pupils who may struggle in mainstream education.
