SEN Teacher - Greenwich
MPS/UPS + SEN allowance | Full-time | Permanent/Long-term

We are looking for an inspirational SEN Teacher to join a specialist school in Greenwich, working with pupils with severe and complex learning needs.

The school environment is highly focused on personalised learning, communication, independence and preparing pupils for their next stage of life.



About the opportunity

You will plan and deliver engaging lessons that are accessible to pupils with a wide range of abilities and learning profiles.

The successful teacher will be confident adapting the curriculum and using practical, sensory and communication-based approaches to make learning meaningful.

You will:

  • Plan and deliver differentiated lessons.

  • Set ambitious but achievable targets.

  • Support pupils with complex learning needs and autism.

  • Work alongside Teaching Assistants and specialist professionals.

  • Use assessment effectively to demonstrate progress.

  • Develop communication, independence and life skills.

  • Build strong relationships with pupils and families.

  • Contribute to EHCP reviews and personalised learning plans.
