APT Education is recruiting a 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant – Milton Keynes - Full Time - ASC (Non‑Verbal) to support a Primary‑aged pupil with Autism who is non‑verbal. This is a full‑time role in a supportive, welcoming Milton Keynes Primary school, starting in September.

As a 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant - Milton Keynes - Full Time - ASC (Non‑Verbal), you’ll work directly with the Company Director of a local, founder‑led, Primary‑only agency. You will never be treated like a number - you’ll be supported, listened to and placed with genuine care.

As a 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant – Milton Keynes – Full Time – ASC (Non‑Verbal), you will provide:

  • Consistent 1:1 support for a pupil with ASC
  • Communication support for a non‑verbal child (PECS, visuals, gestures)
  • Calm, patient and nurturing behaviour support
  • Sensory regulation and structured routines
  • Close collaboration with the class teacher and SENCO
  • Full‑time support across the school day

  • Experience supporting pupils with Autism (ASC)
  • Experience with non‑verbal communication (PECS, visuals or similar)
  • Calm, patient and consistent approach
  • UK Primary school experience preferred
  • Valid DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
