Salary: £92.56 - £105 per day
Hours: Monday-Friday, Term Time Only
Salary is dependent on experience and qualifications. Higher rates are available for candidates with extensive SEN experience and relevant training. Pay is determined in line with Agency Worker Regulations (AWR), where applicable.
We're recruiting an SEN Teaching Assistant to join a highly supportive primary school in Southwark that places inclusion at the centre of everything it does. You'll work closely with pupils with Autism Spectrum Disorder, helping them develop academically, socially and emotionally within a structured, positive environment.
Whether supporting classroom learning, communication or sensory needs, your contribution will play a vital role in every child's success.

Main duties
• Support pupils with ASD throughout the school day.
• Deliver personalised interventions.
• Promote communication and independence.
• Assist with EHCP targets.
• Build positive relationships with pupils and families.
• Work alongside teachers and therapists where appropriate.
Requirements
• Experience supporting pupils with Autism or SEND.
• Understanding of inclusive education.
• Calm, patient and enthusiastic approach.
• Enhanced DBS or willingness to apply.
• Right to work in the UK.
