This role requires someone who can build trusting relationships with children while providing calm, consistent and structured support throughout the school day.
The role

Responsibilities will include:
• Supporting pupils with ASD to access classroom learning.

• Supporting communication, emotional regulation and social interaction.
• Working closely with the class teacher and SENCO.

We are particularly interested in candidates with:
• Previous experience supporting children with ASD or additional needs.
• School, nursery, SEND or relevant care experience.
• A calm and consistent approach.
• Good communication skills.
• An understanding of sensory, communication or emotional regulation needs.
