Are you a passionate and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant looking to make a real impact in a supportive primary school environment?
We are currently recruiting for a Primary SEN Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming school in Lambeth (SW2), working within their High Needs ARP (Autism Resource Provision).
The Role
- Supporting pupils with Autism (ASC) within a specialised ARP setting
- Providing 1:1 and small group support tailored to individual learning needs
- Assisting with EHCP targets, behaviour management and communication strategies
- Working closely with class teachers and SENCOs to deliver structured and engaging lessons
- Helping to create a safe, consistent and nurturing environment
- Experience working with children with Autism / SEN (school or care setting)
- Patient, empathetic and resilient with a proactive approach
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- A genuine passion for supporting children with additional needs
- Supportive and experienced SEN team
- Well-resourced Autism Provision (ARP)
