A specialist SEN secondary school in Northampton is seeking dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistants to join their team as soon as possible.

About the SchoolThis is a specialist secondary provision supporting pupils with a wide range of additional needs and diagnoses. The school caters for students with complex needs, including some pupils who are non-verbal and many who use wheelchairs. As part of the role, you will be required to provide personal care and support students with their day-to-day needs.
The RoleYou will work closely with teaching staff to:

• Support students with a range of SEN needs
• Assist with learning activities in and out of the classroom
• Provide personal care where required
• Promote student independence and wellbeing
• Create a positive and inclusive learning environment

We Are Looking For

• Caring, patient and resilient individuals
• Experience working with SEN, care, education or support settings is desirable
• A willingness to assist with personal care
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Individuals available to start as soon as possible

Working Hours8:40am - 3:45pmContractFixed-term until August 2027
