Daily Rate: £110 - 120
Days: Monday to Friday (Term Time Only)
Start Date: ASAP
Contract: Long-Term temporary, Temp to Perm

Long Term Futures are seeking a caring and reliable SEN Teaching Assistant for a welcoming primary school in the Erdington area of Birmingham.

You'll be supporting KS1 pupils with additional needs, including ASD and communication difficulties, providing a mixture of 1:1, small-group and classroom support. This is a long-term role ideal for someone looking for stability and the opportunity to become a valued part of a school team throughout the academic year.

In this role, you will:

  • Provide 1:1 and small-group SEN support
  • Help pupils access lessons and classroom activities
  • Support communication, emotional regulation and positive behaviour
  • Encourage independence and confidence
  • Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO
  • Maintain consistent routines throughout the school day

You'll need:

  • A Level 3 in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools or equivalent in a relevant subject.
  • Experience supporting primary-aged children with SEN
  • ASD, communication or behaviour-support experience is desirable
  • Confidence supporting pupils both 1:1 and in class
