This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference by supporting pupils across the school on a 1:1 basis, helping them thrive both in and out of the classroom.
What you’ll be doing
- Supporting pupils on a 1:1 basis, helping them progress academically, socially, and emotionally.
- Working across different year groups if required (Reception up to Year 6)
- Working closely with the class teacher to adapt activities and resources to meet the pupil’s individual needs.
- Encouraging independence, developing social skills, and boosting self-esteem.
- Providing personal care when required, such as assisting with toileting and supporting at mealtimes.
- Building positive, trusting relationships with pupils, staff, and families.
What we’re looking for
- Experience supporting children with SEND in a school setting or within a similar care-focused role.
- A flexible approach and willingness to support across different year groups where needed.
- A patient, empathetic, and reliable individual who is confident supporting both learning and personal care.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a supportive team.
- A genuine passion for helping children grow, succeed, and feel their very best every day.
