The successful candidate will support students across KS3 and KS4, working with learners with ADHD and ASD (Autism) and helping them access learning, develop confidence and remain engaged in the classroom.
The role will involve:
- Providing 1:1 and small-group support to SEN learners
- Supporting students with ADHD and ASD (Autism)
- Assisting with learning across KS3 and KS4
- Supporting positive behaviour and emotional regulation
- Helping students stay focused and engaged
- Working closely with teachers and the wider SEN team
- Previous experience working with SEN learners – essential
- Experience supporting students with ADHD and/or ASD (Autism)
- A patient, caring and resilient approach
- Good understanding of SEND and individual learning needs
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- A genuine passion for supporting young people with additional needs

- Permanent equivalent rate after 12 weeks, usually resulting in a pay rise
