The Role as a SEN TA

  • Provide 1:1 and small-group support to students with additional needs.
  • Help students build confidence, independence and positive learning habits.
  • Support communication, emotional regulation and engagement in lessons.
  • Work closely with teachers and support staff to create a safe, inclusive environment.
  • Build positive relationships and encourage students to reach their full potential.
  • Monitor progress, wellbeing and engagement throughout the school day.

We're Looking For in a SEN TA

  • Someone passionate about supporting young people with SEN.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
  • A calm, resilient and positive approach.
  • Psychology, Education or related graduates are particularly encouraged to apply.

Job Details

  • Location: Oxford
  • Setting: Specialist SEN School
  • Start Date: ASAP
  • Pay: £93-£110 per day
  • Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:30am-3:30pm
  • Contract: Full-time
