SEN Teaching Assistant – Camden Primary School (Phonics & Intervention Focus)

An Outstanding primary school in Camden (NW1) is looking for a committed SEN Teaching Assistant with experience in phonics support. This full-time role begins in September 2026 and runs through to July 2027 - ideal for graduates or aspiring educational psychologists seeking valuable classroom experience.

You’ll be working across Year 2 and Year 4, delivering tailored interventions and supporting pupils with special educational needs. This is a wonderful opportunity to gain long-term classroom experience while making a real difference.

  • Delivering phonics sessions to boost literacy

  • Collaborating with the class teacher and SENCo

Ideal SEN Teaching Assistant Profile:

  • Graduate with phonics/intervention experience
  • Passionate about special educational needs
  • Excellent communication and patience
  • Available full-time from September to July
  • Based near Camden / King’s Cross or able to travel to NW1
