SEN TEACHING ASSISTANT

Prospero Teaching

The successful candidate will support pupils on a 1:1 and small-group basis, helping them develop academically, socially and emotionally. You will work closely with the class teacher and wider support team to create a safe, positive and engaging learning environment.



The ideal candidate:

  • Has previous experience working with children or young people with SEN
  • Is patient, caring and understanding
  • Can build strong relationships with pupils
  • Is confident supporting challenging behaviour and additional needs
  • Works well as part of a team
  • Has a genuine passion for helping children reach their potential

SEN experience is essential, and experience within a specialist school or with ASD would be highly desirable.
