SEN Teaching Assistant

Prospero Teaching are working with an Alternative Provision in Salisbury, providing support for students with a range of SEN and SEMH Difficulties. The school is now currently looking for compassionate Teaching Assistants to join their teams and support their secondary students with SEMH Difficulties.

We are looking for Teaching Assistants who:

• Have a nurturing, calm approach
• Can build strong rapport with students
• Are consistent and patient in their support
• Can adapt to different classroom environments
• Value student progress at all levels

Contract details:

• Location - Salisbury, Wiltshire
• Position - SEN Teaching Assistant
• Start date - ASAP
• Contract type - Long term supply or temp to perm
• Duration - Ongoing
• Full time - Full time role
• Minimum rate of pay - £14.96 per hour

Eligibility:

• Grade C/4 or above in English and Maths
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Reliable and motivated
• Able to show initiative
