Location: Knutsford area
Hours: Mornings only (full days available for the right candidate)
Contract: Temporary
Start: ASAP
Pay: GBP16.64 per hour

Prospero Teaching is currently looking for a nurturing SEN Teaching Assistant to support a pupil in a welcoming school near Knutsford. Due to the location of the school, a car is essential.

SEN Teaching Assistant - Responsibilities

Provide tailored support to pupils with additional needs
Work on a 1:1 basis and within small groups
Support pupils with their social, emotional and academic development
Assist with personal care where required
Promote a positive, safe and inclusive learning environment
Work closely with class teachers and the SENCO

SEN Teaching Assistant - Requirements

Right to Work in the UK (no sponsorship available)
Enhanced Child DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply for one
Two professional references covering the last two years
Clear CV history with explanations for any employment or study gaps
Previous experience supporting children with SEN in a UK school or care setting
A patient, nurturing and resilient approach
Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle due to the school location
Relevant TA qualifications are desirable but not essential
