About the RoleAs an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will play an important role in supporting pupils to access learning, develop confidence and achieve their potential.
Your responsibilities may include:
- Providing 1:1 and small-group support.
- Supporting pupils with SEND, Autism, ADHD and additional learning needs.
- Assisting pupils with classroom activities and learning.
- Supporting emotional wellbeing and positive behaviour.
- Adapting activities and resources to meet individual needs.
- Encouraging communication, independence and confidence.
- Building positive relationships with pupils.
- Working closely with teachers, SENCOs and other support staff.
- Creating a safe, inclusive and supportive learning environment.
We're keen to hear from candidates who:
- Have at least 6 months of UK experience in a Teaching Assistant, SEN or relevant support role.
- Have experience working with children or young people.
- Have previous SEND experience.
- Are patient, caring, resilient and adaptable.
- Have strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- Can work effectively as part of a school team.
- Are passionate about helping children overcome barriers to learning.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
