Are you a passionate and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant looking for a new opportunity in Slough?

We are currently working with a welcoming school in Slough who are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about supporting children with additional needs and helping them achieve their full potential.

The Role:

• Provide 1:1 and small-group support to pupils with SEN

• Support students with their learning, development and emotional wellbeing

• Assist teachers with classroom activities and lesson preparation

• Help manage behaviour and promote positive engagement

• Support pupils with a range of additional needs, including ASD, ADHD and SEMH

• Encourage independence and confidence in pupils

• Work closely with teachers, SENCOs and other support staff

The Ideal Candidate:

• Previous experience working with children or young people with SEN

• Strong understanding of SEN and additional learning needs

• Patient, caring and supportive approach

• Confident in managing challenging behaviour

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills

• Able to build positive relationships with pupils

• A relevant Teaching Assistant/SEN qualification is desirable but not essential
