Salary: £92.56 - £105 per day (dependent on experience and qualifications)
Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:30am-3:30pm (Term Time Only)

Teach Now is partnering with a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Southwark to recruit an SEN Teaching Assistant who can provide consistent support for pupils with SEMH and ADHD. This isn't simply about classroom assistance; it's about becoming a trusted adult who helps children overcome challenges, develop confidence and enjoy learning.
You'll work alongside experienced teachers, SEN specialists and pastoral staff to provide structured support both inside and outside the classroom. Every day brings new challenges, but also genuine opportunities to make a lasting impact.

Your responsibilities
• Support pupils with SEMH and ADHD on a 1:1 and small-group basis.
• Help implement behaviour and learning strategies.
• Encourage emotional regulation and positive relationships.
• Adapt learning activities to individual needs.
• Work closely with teaching staff and the SENCO.
• Celebrate progress and build pupils' confidence.
We're looking for someone who has:
• Experience supporting children with SEND, SEMH or ADHD.
• Patience, resilience and excellent communication skills.
• A positive, proactive attitude.
• Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one).
• Right to work in the UK.
