Pay: £100–£125 per day
Hours: Full Time | Monday to Friday | 08:30 – 16:00
Start Date: September 2026

Rising Hope Education is delighted to be recruiting dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistants to join an outstanding specialist SEND provision in East London from September 2026.
The school supports children and young people with a range of additional needs, including Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC), Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD), Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD), communication needs and associated learning differences. The school provides a nurturing, therapeutic and highly personalised approach to education.
We are seeking enthusiastic, resilient and caring individuals who are passionate about supporting children with additional needs and helping them to achieve their full potential.
The Role
- Supporting pupils with a range of SEND, including autism and complex learning needs
- Working closely with teachers, therapists and specialist practitioners
- Supporting learning, communication, emotional regulation and independence skills
- Delivering personalised interventions and adapting support to meet individual needs
- Assisting with personal care where required
- Building positive and trusting relationships with pupils, families and colleagues
The Ideal Candidate
- Previous experience working with children, young people or adults with additional needs
- Experience supporting SEND, autism, SEMH, SLD or PMLD is highly desirable
- A calm, patient and nurturing approach
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- A genuine passion for inclusion and making a positive difference
