We are recruiting for a dedicated and supportive One to One Teaching Assistant to join a highly regarded primary school in Wolverhampton. This is a full time position starting ASAP and will continue on an ongoing basis, with the potential for the role to become long term.
The successful candidate will provide one to one academic support to a KS2 pupil, helping them to engage confidently with their learning and make continued progress in the classroom. The pupil has good behaviour and the role is focused primarily on providing additional academic support and ensuring they receive the individual attention they need to succeed.

The RoleAs a One to One Teaching Assistant, your responsibilities will include:
- Providing one to one academic support to a KS2 pupil
- Supporting the pupil to access and engage with the curriculum
- Helping to reinforce learning and develop confidence in the classroom
- Working closely with the class teacher to support the pupil's individual needs
- Encouraging positive learning behaviours and independence
- Providing consistent and nurturing support throughout the school day
- Working as part of the wider school team to ensure the pupil receives the best possible support
The school is looking for someone who is:
- Experienced working with children in a primary school environment
- Ideally experienced in providing one to one or small group support
- Patient, caring and encouraging
- Confident supporting pupils with their academic development
- Able to build positive and trusting relationships with pupils
- A strong team player who works well alongside teachers and support staff
- Reliable, enthusiastic and committed to making a positive difference

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position is previous experience working in a school setting.
