Are you an experienced and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant looking for a rewarding opportunity in West London? Teach Plus is recruiting for dedicated SEN Teaching Assistants for September 2026. These full-time role offer the opportunity to support pupils with a range of additional needs while making a genuine difference to their learning, confidence, and overall development.

Teach Plus support a wide range of primary schools located across West London, who are committed to providing an inclusive learning environment where every child is encouraged to reach their full potential.

The SEN Teaching Assistant positions would suit candidates with experience supporting pupils across a range of SEND needs within primary or SEND schools. Experience working with pupils with Autism, ADHD, non-verbal communication needs, and other additional learning needs is highly desirable. This is an excellent opportunity to join a nurturing school where your skills and experience will be highly valued.

Job Responsibilities

• Support pupils with SEND on a one-to-one basis and in small group interventions.
• Deliver targeted learning activities under the direction of the class teacher and SENCO.
• Promote pupils' social, emotional, and academic development through positive behaviour support.
• Adapt learning resources and classroom activities to meet individual pupil needs.
• Build strong relationships with pupils, parents, and school staff to support positive outcomes.
• Monitor pupil progress and provide regular feedback to teachers and the wider SEND team.

Qualifications/Experience

• Experience as a SEN Teaching Assistant or in a similar role.
• Strong SEND knowledge relevant to the role.
• Enhanced DBS Certificate with the Update Service.
• Right to work in the UK.
