TeacherActive is proud to be working with a specialist SEND school in Sale, supporting their search for a dedicated SEND TA. This Good OFSTED-rated school provides a nurturing and inclusive learning environment for Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 students, with a strong focus on helping every pupil achieve their individual potential.

The school is looking to appoint a full-time SEND TA on a long-term basis starting in September. The successful SEND TA will support students with PMLD, Autism and SEMH, working closely with teachers and the wider SEND team to provide tailored classroom support, promote independence and encourage positive engagement in learning.

The successful SEND TA will have:

• Experience supporting children or young people with SEND, particularly PMLD, Autism and SEMH
• A caring, patient and resilient approach to supporting students with additional needs
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
• The ability to adapt learning activities to meet individual needs
• Experience working within a school or specialist SEND setting
• A willingness to support with personal care where required
