Job Title: Teaching Assistant

Salary: £90 - £120 per day

Are you confident supporting children and young people with SEMH needs?

Are you a patient and adaptable Teaching Assistant who can provide consistent support in the classroom?

TeacherActive is proud to be working with SEN schools in Exeter that support pupils with Social, Emotional and Mental Health / SEMH needs. The schools provide a supportive environment where pupils with additional needs can engage with their education and develop their confidence.

The successful Teaching Assistant will have:

• Knowledge of SEN and SEMH needs
• Experience supporting children or young people with additional needs
• Experience managing challenging behaviour
• Strong communication skills
• A patient and resilient approach
• Adaptability and a willingness to support pupils' individual needs
