This welcoming school supports students with a range of additional needs, including Autism, ADHD, SEMH and associated learning difficulties. They are looking for compassionate and proactive Teaching Assistants who are passionate about helping young people succeed both inside and outside the classroom.

The Role:

  • Provide 1:1 and small group support to students with a range of SEN.
  • Support learning, communication and emotional regulation throughout the school day.
  • Encourage independence, confidence and positive behaviour.
  • Work alongside teachers and therapists to deliver personalised support.
  • Build strong relationships with students and contribute to a positive learning environment.
  • Help pupils develop the skills they need to achieve their full potential.

What We're Looking For:

  • Previous experience supporting children or young people with SEN in a school setting.
  • Experience working with Autism, ADHD, SEMH or other additional needs.
  • A calm, resilient and adaptable approach.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
  • A genuine passion for supporting young people to succeed.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
