Are you an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant looking for a rewarding role where you can make a genuine difference?
We’re working with a friendly and supportive specialist SEN school in Addlestone, looking for passionate Teaching Assistants to join their team. You’ll support pupils with a range of additional needs in a nurturing, inclusive environment.
The Role-
Provide 1:1 and small-group support throughout the school day

Support pupils with Autism (ASC), ADHD, SEMH and other additional needs

Encourage positive behaviour, independence, confidence and social development
-
Support individual learning and EHCP targets
-
Adapt activities and provide practical support based on pupils’ needs
-
Work closely with teachers, therapists and the wider SEN team
-
Help create a safe, positive and engaging learning environment
-
Previous experience in an SEN school or similar setting is essential

Experience supporting children with a range of additional needs
-
Patient, resilient and proactive approach
-
Strong communication and teamwork skills
-
Team Teach training is beneficial but not essential

Genuine passion for supporting children and young people with SEN

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
